Round 2 Points tally

Dear Cup Fans,

How strange it was to not be at a Cup round for me. Sunday was the
second I've missed in 15 years. I was very fortunate to have Chris and
Heidi take care of things and by all accounts they did a great job.
Thank you guys!

There will be no comprehensive report albeit to say there were some
stand out riders from Round 2 who have a solid lead in each of our 3
classes. Justin, Scotty and Alyssa had a very strong day and Scotty
remains unbeaten this season. Great to see Amy back, Awesome Andy
Ansell goes P3 for the overall, Lucas recovers from being a human
judder bar to winning a race, Benny has a solid day and banks good
points after missing 3 races at round 1, and Lozza uses an appendix
operation as an excuse not to finish 6th.

Entries were a bit light also so I hope we see a good turn out for
Round 3 which will feature our Kiwibike Insurance 1 Hour race. Get in
early to partner up with your hired gun for this special event. I know
of some very strong pairings already locked in. Entries will be open
very soon so keep an eye out at mxt.co.nz.
